Routespring
What I'm building now, and what came before.
I have spent my career building technology businesses across payments, software engineering, healthcare and travel. Each one started small and had to earn its way to the next stage. Routespring is the current one.
Routespring — today
Routespring is a B2B corporate travel platform I co-founded with Hitesh in 2020. We are building technology for corporate and airline crew travel — booking, payments, hotel operations, disruption handling and reconciliation. Last year we turned sharply into airline crew travel, the messy layer between scheduling systems and a tired pilot finding a hotel room at 2 AM during an irregular operation. It's been duct-taped together forever because it never fit traditional software: too much unstructured text, too many phone calls, too many exceptions.
We're using AI to automate the operational work that has traditionally depended on phone calls, emails and manual coordination — voice agents that call hotels, rebooking engines that resolve disruptions in minutes, software that does the services work itself.
The companies before this one
hCentive (2009–2020). Co-founder and CTO. Healthcare eligibility, enrollment, and exchange technology, built while the ACA was still being argued about on cable news. Acquired by Optum.
GlobalLogic (2000–2009). Co-founder and Head of Engineering. Built the first team, helped grow it into a global product engineering company. Sold to private equity in 2013 and later to Hitachi for $9.6B.
Pine Labs (1998–2000). Co-founder and CTO. Started in a small office in Delhi building card-based payment systems for Indian retail. It's now one of India's largest fintech companies.
Three happy endings so far. The fourth is in progress — which probably says more about my co-founders' judgment in picking me than anything else.
Elsewhere
Uprobotics is the exception to the pattern above — a learning environment rather than a company. And a set of smaller projects lives outside all of it, built to answer questions rather than to become businesses.
